showed up on gamepass so I gave it a try
the controls are horrible, like GTA bad. The game is un-optimized, my 3080 was struggling to get decent frame rates and it still looked like shit. And it's only online so that killed any "oh it has a cool story" potential. What a complete failure, and a good example of games you wonder how the frick they were even made and released

The Payday series feels like a gimmick to me, it's like based off a segment in a game which has a larger scale, ie. If you made GTA purely based around heists, leaving out its full gameplay potential. So the gameplay style feels like a gimmick section of what should be a larger game.
Tried Payday 2, got bored shitless within 2 hours and uninstalled. Never played since, shit-tier gimmick game.
