Sure, the "war bad" and "America bad" takes may be a little bit overrated, but Hard-working American Ops is absolutely not something for !g*mers that you would see on /r/Gaming.
The game came out in 2012 so I am using the leddit tropes that were common back then, as in 2012 the RethugliKKKans/Genderspecial/Nazichudbigot culture war brainrot had fully metastized on leddit, and the MCU style of writing and CGI superhero slop were still in their infancy.

The only game worse for soyjacking insufferability was Life Is Strange; an absolute miasma particularly in its dialogue and reveal of the killer.
I could have lived with the r-slurred "wowsers" if they never found the killer and the game was instead about coming to terms with awful shit that sometimes happens in life. They even set it up with the "save dad" episode.
What a waste.
