A 2K rep tells me: "Spec Ops: The Line will no longer be available on online storefronts, as several partnership licenses related to the game are expiring." 1/2
If you have not played Hard-working American Ops The Line, please pirate and play it if you can since it has now effectively become abandonware, or if not, then just watch some videos about it, it actually is an anti-war masterpiece, the vidya equivalent of this:

As a child I bought spec ops: covert assault for ps1 because it was in the bargain bin and that game sucked mad bag

I got no idea why they chose to make this game a part of the Hard-working American Ops series, even though it has absolutely no connections to the earlier games, and little to no people heard of the series before The Line came out, The Line was also in development heck for years, it started development in 2006, but was not released until 2012.

they pitched a futuristic cover shooter to 2k(
which was the style at the time) and 2k told them to make a spec ops game instead, but with a lot of creative freedom. Hence it not being the simulation like game like the earlier ones.
