Every single app on your (Windows) PC already has access to all your files, keyboard inputs, browser history, etc. Kernel access doesn't increase the amount of data apps have access to. Semi-related XKCD.

If you don't trust a piece of software, you shouldn't be running it. Kernel access doesn't matter, it's just a red herring.

Saying you value your privacy and don't want to use Vanguard but at the same time, the NSA, CIA and FBI all spy on us and work hard to pass laws to make it easier and we never know about it, while tech companies knowingly work with them to give over our data anytime they ask and sell out data to advertisers + NSA was recently caught buying our data, while Microsoft has been caught a long long time ago openly putting backdoors in Windows for them to have access, your privacy has been dead for a long time, you're just now starting to see.

More and more cheats run in ring0. If you are refusing to install an anti-cheat that runs in ring0, you are essentially saying that cheaters won and you are no longer willing to fight them. It is what it is.

Huawei is a brand i wanted to like. Got a phone of theirs (free from a relative) which on paper was 2 gens ahead of my s8. Better processor, loads more ram. In reality the huawei applet that runs on top of the base OS made it worse in every way.

Apps couldnt go to background without losing data, freezing, crashes, lag. Awful phone.

theres a reason they didn't implement it immediately after developing it for valorant years ago (aside from the 2009 codebase :marseysmug2: )

league is not a first person shooter. it doesn't have the same flaws

your client only has a small amount of information, exactly what the server needs you to know

there's no wall hacks, or anything that helps you gain a huge advantage, like older fps games where your client knew where everyone was :marseyfacepalm:

and the only thing you can do is get slight info advantages like seeing how much dmg an ability might do overlaid on hp bars

and of course aimbots and dodging but

in an fps game, if you can flick faster, inhumanly fast, the moment your client recieves info abt an enemy, you will win. every time

it doesn't matter how good your aim is in LOL. even if you hit literally everything, if you're not competent that gets you nowhere. and no cheats can fix leage brainrot

and even then this tactic is only possible on a small set of ability-centric champions and is really obvious

that's why I liked the game. it felt less reliant on pure reflex and reaction time and more on strategy :marseyshrug: its a pointless move because in almost 15years cheating has never been the kind of problem in league that it is in most games

the game does have massive issues with people abusing matchmaking at high skill levels, 'wintrading' targeting ppl and rigging degenerate korean betting sites, all of which as far as I remember riot does nothing about...
