Seems weird to me that in slop AAAAAAAAA+++++++ games they're even making the characters look like the voice actors

I only play old games or games where the devs can barely afford a dumpster-dived laptop and gruel rations, so I don't run into this problem

I'd bet it makes facial animations easier when the person's facial expressions match up perfectly with what the character should be expressing.
