I'm unironically so pissed at the direction paradox took with CK3. I really just want a cool 'king' simulator game but instead I just get r-slurred marvel movie quip events and nonsense railroads. I'm almost sure this is an astroturf to make people forget that the previous game had way more content at the same age as CK3 in 2024.
I also really dislike the way they did culture and religion in CK3, the only religions with any actual flavour are mainstream christianity and islam (only in the middle east). They're all just too generic and somehow have less flavour than Rimworld ideologies, which don't even have any real life analogue.

It's legit kind of funny to me how fricking Warsim, a zany text based kingdom management game makes you feel more like an actual king than ck3 if only because it assumes you actually have an actual entourage of guardsmen and doesn't bombard you with a bunch of "YOU SHITTED YOUR DIAPIE AND A PEASANT GIGGLES AT YOU" events

If would have been interesting the religions have different aesthetics and effects per culture group. ie. Baltic/Russiod Muslims are quite different irl so having such in game reflected would be cool, different cultures having their own interpretations and traditions bleed into the religion. Gives another way for wars and intrigue to kick off too.
