I've seen a lot of videos talking about how the master collection or whatever it is called that was released on Steam is utter dog shit.

Like how you only have 8 directions you can move in despite the original playstation allowing you to have 360 degree rotation.

That gameplay downgrade is enough to make me pass, unlike this foid and the wall.

All I wanted was a graphics upgrade for MSG1. Not that hard to make

Twin Snakes changed a lot of shit (very 'post-matrix' cutscenes for example) and also, hilariously the GameCube didn't have enough buttons to map all of the controls from mgs2 onto it so you have to do weird button combos for some actions

I thought it played fine. :marseyshrug: biggest gripe for me was using 2 discs which was weird for a gen 6 game.

To be fair I'm basing this on a single playthrough from 20 years ago. I straight up didn't remember it has multiple discs
