They didn't showed single trailer or image of this game and leak of that remake was in 2021 also not every game from that leak was shown like it it had titanfall 3. Knowing square enix they could had cancelled it or put it to the sides.
For example square enix wanted to do ff6 remake for n64
Then ff8 remake for ps2
Then ff7 for ps3
They also been working for very long on ff tactics remake and ff10-3 and now even announcing plans for ff10 remake.
But they will release a final fantasy game in 2026 but what it will be is hard to predict
