Well Wii U was bigger flop or vita or Xbox after Philip (forgot his family name)
Basically CEO play big role in console success.
Like gaybox was doing fantastic with 360 from 2005 to 2008 then they fired the ceo for being not modern enough and put don mattrik that pushed avatars, Kinect and other shit so Xbox ended up losing the core audience
Wii basically let any shit be released on it and then Nintendo decided they are family quality company and Wii u happened censoring everything and not letting weeb shit and that helped ps4 succeed since they let everything in till 2016-2018 and then came burger ceo that pushed live service and was again weeb shit so that weeb shit jumped on switch.
