"This is Furukawa, president of Nintendo," Furukawa wrote. "We will make an announcement about the successor to Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year. It will have been over nine years since we announced the existence of Nintendo Switch back in March 2015.
"We will be holding a Nintendo Direct this June regarding the Nintendo Switch software lineup for the latter half of 2024, but please be aware that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during that presentation."

Any speculation on which chip they'll use?

Nvidia hasn't made anything in the mobile segment in a long time now, it's most probably gonna be an AMD APU like every other console.

Tegra T239 has been the rumor for like a year now https://old.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/17mxrgd/inside_nvidias_new_t239_processor_the_nextgen/k7p2cxz/?context=8
TLDR
CPU side should be around half, maybe less, of the CPU performance of current gen consoles
GPU is rumored 3.5 TFLOP docked, less than Series S, around half of something like RTX2060
Memory probably 12GB, maybe 16 but probably not
Decent uplift over OG Switch but somewhat underwhelming considering the console should probably last until 2032 or so
