Owlcat games are full of jank and bad design choices. Rogue Trader is not different and has at least 2 DLC coming which will also be broken on launch. Wait a while and pick it up when it's fixed.
Have you played Wasteland 3? Another crpg which was released in a janky state but is now fixed and is pretty awesome. It's what people remember the old Fallout games to be, but the old Fallout games were pretty awful really.
Yeah I didn't like Pathfinder Kingmaker very much but I heard so many good things about Rogue Trader I thought maybe they'd improved. I'll wait for a hefty sale to try it. Will check out Wasteland 3 also
FO1 and 2 are still fun to play once in a while. Tactics not so much.
Wasteland 3 is a really cool game but I dislike how every tactics game that comes out nowadays uses the XCOM template. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, it just makes everything feel like a reskin.
RTwP was shit and died for a reason. I don't mind the xcom system and I'd prefer all RPG combat to be resolved with a scene featuring a photo-realistic Joe Biden shoving a rusty spoon into his ungreased anus rather than RTwP.
I like RTwP but that's fine. Games don't have to be RTwP to not all be the exact same square grid with almost the exact same UI elements and cover mechanics, which the overwhelming majority of tactics games have been since XCOM. Fallout 1 and 2 aren't real time with pause anyway so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Treat it like I treat WotR, wait till all the DLC is out and patches are done
>it's as good as BG3
Not really. Only the prologue was fully voice acted for some reason. BG3 is a good game mechanically as long as you're not a d20 lorelet. Storywise its shit.
Yeah I agree. I really like the BG3 characters but the story lost steam at the end for me. None of the villains were as intimidating as Ketheric and the overall plot suffered for it. Fun as frick to play though.
I've done both. I would always try to slowly create humans though so I would pivot to omnivore eventually most of the time. Haven't played in a long time though I miss that game.
I'm playing cyberpunk 2077 and what REALLY pisses me THE FRICK OFF is there's a genital option at the beginning of the game so I chose genital option 1 (low-mid and uncircumcised) and I chose an outfit to display this withered white weed to the world and when I go to teabag a writhing defeated enemy I go into to photo mode and MY CHARACTER IS WEARING GODDARN BOXER-BRIEFS! AND HOVERING 2 FEET ABOVE THE NPC'S FACE!

VON VALANCIUS IS A BETTER CONDUIT FOR THE PLAYER THAN TAV, THE COMPANIONS IN RT AREN'T REDDITOR OCs, AND THE RPG MECHANICS HAVE MORE DEPTH. HOWEVER THE DIFFICULTY SPIKES ARE FRICKING WILD AND I IMAGINE THAT'S THE MOST PRESSING DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ROGUE TRADER ANDbg3...

This is the ramblings of naive understandings of the complexities of the world around us. Listening to this is like listening to a girl with a young daughter in a pigpen apartment with donettes on the nightstand giving me fitness advice after owning a treadmill for a day.

I stand by my comments. Stop being such a hipster. What's next? You going to try arguing that Genesis were better before Peter Gabriel left?

WoR was better than Kingmaker, other than the weird army mechanics. Granted, I've never liked the Kingmaker campaign.

Wasteland 3 is the best! Co-op is really fun too. Try playing with only 2 characters.
