Absolutely mind boggling that every one of these companies has come to the conclusion that their target market is wildly racist, sexist, and off color to the point that they've universally removed voice chat and for many of them even text chat as well. But also are willing to light hundreds of millions of dollars in their studios of hundreds of people (where maybe 20 are actually accomplishing anything) making games that keep pushing the envelope of how to turn off their target demographic. Absolutely astounding.

These companies are completely ideologically captured and I've seen plenty of tweets from studio heads(Cory Barlog and Chet Faliszek both have full TDS) saying they would blacklist certain people. Who would speak up and say maybe remove some of the obese black chicks and add some white dudes in that environment.

I watched a video on that the other day. Apparently all this DEI shit is based off of a single study which concluded that diverse companies and messaging are significantly more likely to massively increase their revenue. Following this study, every industry started making radical shifts towards all of this stuff, all because of the vague hope that it would make them more likely to improve returns on their investments.
Turns out the study had things backwards. Nobody has been able replicate the results of the original and economists came to a different conclusion after further scrutiny. Diverse companies aren't more likely to be more successful; successful companies are more likely to become diverse.
We've upended every major corporation, industry and government in the Western world because of the vague promise that it would make us more money and all its done is turn everything to shit and enable useless, r-slurred grifters to govern vast swathes of cultural discourse.
