What should I expect?
I think it has a tag team battle buddy mechanic like the new JoJo game.
I got it since I played centralfiction and this was $12 bucks, so this and Grandblue rising was in my non-piracy game budget.
also @RWBY I'm gonna play waifu Neo

Lmao that game is a fricking horrorshow loaded with ToDs, completely unreactable mixups that are + on block, and unfair, oppressive characters that will lock you down for days. It's really fricking fun as long as you aren't playing characters you're already familiar with in their original games. If the dumbing down of FGs was truly inevitable, I wish they had gone in this direction rather than where Strive and SF6 did.
I'm going to be pre-occupied with Path of Exile for the next little bit but if your still playing it in a month or so we should rip it up for a bit some time. I'm laughably bad at it.

yeah I'd be down to play some against you once I figure out the basics. Luckily I only have like 7ish hours on centralfiction playing around with all the characters against my brother so I won't get messed over from that. I'll be playing this, versus rising and Puyo Tetris switching between them everytime I get over losing horribly

If you buckle down on Granblue in ranked I think you'll be a solid player pretty quickly.

I started playing some crosstag on my steamdeck to figure out the gimmicks and shit before playing more, so far I like.
Neo seems like a real b-word with her teleports and I luv her so far. I used Alice too since she was my first on centralfiction (tho I sucked bad.)
I can already tell from practice that combos and damage come fast but honestly I like how it feels.

Heck yeah! I don't frick all about Neo admittedly, and I'm not sure who you're referring to when you say Alice from BBCF, but I agree that the characters are fun. The controls are really crisp and snappy and the game is very fast paced. Honestly the only real issue I have with the game is how they homogenized every character's input to be the same across the cast. It's really a minor issue, but I really like it when characters -feel- different to play.
The good combos are pretty difficult to pull off if you're not used to tag fighters, and the really nasty ones usually use the cross tag thing where you're controlling two characters at once. We probably won't see any of those in the drama games for a long time, if ever. Even without them, it's a really fun game.

Rachel alucard not Alice, Alice Alucard would've sounded better

Makes sense that you sucked in bbcf with her then. She's probably in the top 3 most difficult to play in that game.

It was both that and I didn't really play them much or figure out the whole basics of fighting games. I mostly played with my brother and we'd pick characters and look at the move menu as we went
