Hello does anyone here seriously play any modded Minecraft packs? Specifically the more complex techy/magick ones. For reference, I have gotten the Stargate in GregTech New Horizons.
I'm looking for fun but dedicated people to play with. I have a powerful server box and can do all the setup and maint, but all of my gayming buddies aren't really into modded MC.
Currently i'm really interested in Reika's mods - Rotarycraft, Chromaticraft etc. but i'm struggling to make a pack with them that isn't glitchy and antiquated.
Anyway please let me know. If there's enough interest it would be really fun to play an rDrama modded MC server with a bunch of people! Could do like a village or something.

IMO, using someone else's pack is easier when working with strangers since you won't need to walk them through importing from a .zip or have them get cranky if you need to tweak something.

rDrama is fairly noncommittal, but as long as you use something like FTB Chunks for anti-grief, you should be fine. I'd love to give your server a try.

I promise you all those packs would blow up a computer. Notice it's only Rotary/reactorcraft as well, Chromaticraft is the real problem in what OP is trying to create.
