nah there were countless different peripherals/gadgets that had it, definitely not just N64/Nintendo.

I bought a lot of 10 broken xbox one controllers once.

4 of them all had the same problem. If you have a g*mer moment and throw the controller at the wall, the two circuit boards inside come apart and all you have to do is open the controller up and slot them back together.

Think of all the money MS makes on replacement controllers because they won't fix basic flaws like this.

I've got an xbox one series S (also bought it broken and fixed it) and I use it most days - but I never use the controllers. I use a media remote with it to stream :marseypirate: in Kodi.
