It truly do be like that. Real anti-heroes simply do not exist anymore. It's always just "rough exterior guy who is actually very moral and a softie inside" and even then his "rough" parts are about people who act like le bigots or chuds around him.
Extra points if they are in a non-modern setting, but hold modern beliefs, like aforementioned Arthur or Geralt telling women it's le 13th century and they can do whatever they want. God forbid a character acts like they actually would in those times.
People who are for this would shit and piss themselves if they read Blood Meridian and saw that main characters drop "BIPOC" at every person they see.

I saw a movie recently called The Last Duel and it was actually kind of interesting. It was a he-said she-said r*pe accusation in like late 1700's france i think that explored the accusation from both sides.
There's no real anti-hero in the movie really but you wonder who the real victim was.
Hollywood needs to make Blood Meridian into a race allegory to shut chuds like you up. After all these years lit-tards will finally learn that Judge Holden is Derek Chauvin
You do understand that the point is that the anti-hero is NOT necessarily a good person, right? Sometimes they are even evil. The anon in that greentext specifically drops Tony Soprano, who basically becomes completely irredeemable at the end of the show.
There are different takes, but the most broad definition is that it's a protagonist who lacks typical "heroic" qualities. Some take it further and say they have to fail at the end, be a piece of shit etc.

I bought it like a year ago on series x backwards compatibility and never (re)played it. Then it came out a few months later for ps4 (and ps5 backwards) and I couldn't help but buy it again because now it was 60 fps
If they sell it for 69 fps in January I might buy it again
In the first game there's a choice that you can make that fricks everything up and permenently gets the main character killed. Make sure you save a lol.

Doesn't really matter tbqh the whole backstory of RDR is changed by RDR2, and Revolver is completely unrelated altogether
The only fun continuity thing is seeing John getting drunk and chillin with Bill when they were homies

They did a rdr1 re release on the switch that runs a lot better than the original, if you have a switch I'd start there.
If not, ps3 emulators are pretty good nowadays
