They weren't profiting off of it and you need a legal copy to run the mod (although that's never stopped any lawyer
)Activision reportedly knew about the project for years
The series was on sale just a day prior to this
As with cease and desist orders, they can't distribute the mod in any legal way now
Obviously, this was done to deter players away from that old shit and back to black ops six

As with all non-liveservice multiplayer games, it's been abandoned by the developers and hardly playable. This mod also adds new shit I think.
