Activision takes down popular Call of Duty mod a day before it released !G*mers are NOT HAPPY

Today, our team members received a Cease & Desist order on behalf of Activision Publishing in relation to the H2M-Mod project. We are complying with this order and shutting down all operations immediately and permanently.

Steam page is being flooded with negative reviews like Helldivers 2.

FaZe Clan (remember them?) begging Activision to reconsider.

A few especially evil points

• They weren't profiting off of it and you need a legal copy to run the mod (although that's never stopped any lawyer )

• Activision reportedly knew about the project for years

• The series was on sale just a day prior to this

• As with cease and desist orders, they can't distribute the mod in any legal way now

• Obviously, this was done to deter players away from that old shit and back to black ops six
