I can't remember where I saw this, probably x/twitter whatever the frick. Anyhow apparently Vance said that girls were not into him as a teenager because he played MTG. Now on face value this comes of as whining... and it is but he's also not wrong. He's 40 so playing magic as a teenager would put it as late 90s/early 2000s. This was near but still before nerd and geek shit became normalized. At this point your average foid would look upon a geek as subhuman filth they could milk for money and compliments but nothing else. Zoomers are too young to to understand geek shit has not always been mainstream and older people, particular liberal foids have memory holed how atrocious their behavior was toward nerds/geeks growing up during that time.
