I assume it will be set after the third game and Geralt won't be the protagonist this time, but it's hard to guess anything else.
As with literally everything else I don't have high hopes for, but I'm invested in how it pans out, both in quality and setting.

Tbh I'm a little more interested in the Witcher 1 remake they've announced. That game is super jank so comparatively few people have actually played the game that started it all.

That's one of those cases where the game warrants a remake, but at the same time I have no desire to ever play that remake since the original is something special.

The Witcher 3 made me realize the potential market for a video game where the main focus is running around completing quests and killing people all for the goal of collecting playing cards to make a better Gwent deck and winning tournaments.
You know how the Witcher 3 was like 3% Gwent and 97% doing other boring bullshit that involved their broken combat system? Yeah, I'm talkin' 35% Gwent tournaments, and then 65% that bullshit (with making a better Gwent deck being the objective the entire time). Like Pokemon kind of. Except if you lose to an NPC in Gwent, you kill them and take their cards.
I don't get how this type of game hasn't been made yet. All these open world games have some side shit that is incredibly fun, they just need to 100% lean into it.
