I am very sure woke is actually dying because the generation that grew up with it failed to self actualize resulting in them looking pathetic the older they grow and thus discouraging the next generation to emulate them.
The reason woke went big in the first place is due to the fact that you cannot see the person you are talking to on a text chat so everybody's opinion seems to have some weight.
If the internet was based on only being able to message people with an image attachment of the person speaking, it is very likely the woke ideological movement wouldn't have gotten half as far as it did.

Alyssa Mercante and to a lesser extent a few others would love to be the next 'I called all men incel fascist manbabies and now they're telling me to frick off and keep yourself safe, why are they all so misogynist?' superstar. She seems to be the one currently trying the hardest to be Queen Victim.
I think the Sweet Baby/DEI extortion groups are the closest thing to sparking off a second GG, but it's not like most people trust journ*lists in general any more, let alone gaming ones, and the highest profile DEI games have all been somewhere between a flop and an epic flop. The shrill complaints about being a good person will continue, but they've become so generic by now that they're easy to ignore.
Also, from what I see, g*mers felt there was something to lose in terms of good games in 2014, but nowadays they have no expectations of quality, at least from the biggest releases. I think there just aren't the right conditions for anything but an echo of the original.

This is the biggest thing. G*mers in 2014 were unironically shocked by the cronyism and corruption that social media was revealing. But 10 years later there is NO expectation of honesty or quality anymore. Everything that happens in the industry is met with cynicism.
GG was a comming-of-age moment for younger millenial g*mers and Gen Z is way too pre-jaded to have a moment like that.

Well, she already helped sink an entire channel, and is also a rather unattractive lesbian which drives away male feminists because they know she will turn on them in a heartbeat without even the chance for a crumb. She got as high in gaming as she was going to get, and I'm guessing she twigged to that and decided she'd flounce so it looked like her choice rather than fade away.
