This is the exact same reason every Crazy Taxi reboot fails. It's just not the same without The Offspring songs.

I actually posted the quick and easy way to get it all back (including the original store names) here a couple months ago. Can find it if you're interested, but I'm sure I got it from the game's Steam forum or guides anyway.
