I ne d to get back into NMS, it was such a good Covid game and it's gotten so much better since then

Feature updates I want in the future in No man's sky:

Space cities - Allows you to connect your frigates and other ships out in space and turn it into a connected city.

Cutting tool - Allows you to cut and add chunks to your ships, make and repair breaches. Lets you attack enemy ships from new vectors such as boarding it from breach holes.

Exterminatus - Space nukes that let you destroy entire planets and everything alive on them. Will have entire swarms of thousands of sentinals out to kill you the moment you do that. Almost impossible to survive unless you have hundreds of players fighting along side you.

Planet crashers - allows you to crash giant ships into planets like meteors. Can destroy all life within a city sized, continent sized, or planet sized space.

New mission type - crash sites. Go to planets where you have to dig thousands of km below the soil to find buried ship relics from crashes eons ago. Find the hidden history of a key missing civilization records of whom disappeared long before the Atlas remembers ( In game recover corrupted Atlas memory mission to unlock new alien species ).

New mission type - Bio pirates. Contract workers whose job it is to transport forbidden genetic materials to questionable corporate organizations under unlawful contracts. Big reward big risk. Finishing this mission chain results in the universe within the Atlas being left worse off with new mutant strains that can destroy settlements and aggressive flora and fauna variants.

Clothes update - hundreds of new clothing and accessory options that can be purchased at the shops for in game currency. Dress your traveller up in a sombrero or French high fashion.

Animations update - Improve animation fluidity of in game characters to match current day release quality standards.

Emotes pack - New emote unlock missions played as exploring ancient cultural sites set across the galaxy which allows you to unlock different in game emotes as new learned ancient cultural practices. Some emotes unlock new dialogue options when performed with the right characters and species.

Carp forward these ideas to the dev team. I am sure they will like one or three of them.
