its always annoyed me with "tall grass = stealth safe" mechanics is its never elaborated mechanically. Basically the devs create a zone that once your character crosses into they're invisible to the enemies. Hence it doesn't matter how much jumping up and down you do, you're still flagged invisible. So the enemies only stumble blindly around from your last known location in a pre-programmed search pattern.

Even in Assassins Creed 1 guards were programmed to check hiding spots like the hay and barrels around a crime scene, even if you weren't in them, they were searching like a human would.

Can't do swim mechanics.

Can't even do water reflections right and we've had that tech since like 2005.

Like Ubisoft has been making these "open world exploration story with 4x side quests and resource gathering" for the last 11 years now and somehow they struggle every time now. I think my last game from them was Ghost Recon Wildlands to play with some friends and it sucked. My last assassins creed game was black flag actually lmao.
