OP
I don't care about this because I don't own a PlayNoGamesStation, but redditors do. This particular take made me chuckle though:
Class dismissed, a professional beauty editor has SPOKEN. Discussion ended. You will buy the game remake from last gen, a PS5 Pro to play it better, and you will like it, wagie.
You've never seen a fit woman in real life, child! Those were merely your delusions!
If you saw those skinny chinky Japanese bitches being skinny, those were only animes. Checkmate
The post apocalypses will not have makeup, but will have plenty of McDonalds to keep you chubed up. Finally a post-apocalypses obese g*mers can self-insert into
on skimpier clothes
Okay, I've had enough g*mer non-sense and I don't recognize many of the words being said in this thread. This is nearly Reset-ERA posting except reddit still lets scrotes horny-post.

I really like the Horizon games but I barely noticed the protagonist most of the time, despite her backstory being tied into the whole plot of both games. She never did or said anything interesting.
Look, the game's about hunting robot dinosaurs with an electric bow and explosive trip wires. Nobody cares what the PC looks like.

I have no idea what the games are about. They looked fine, tbh, and I'm okay with anything being an original franchise at this point. People in the thread keep talking like it's post-apocalyptic but there's dinosaurs and IDK what's going on. I'm not trying to begrudge anyone having fun, except for the first comment I linked; that person should never have fun ever in his life ever again. (I'm ragebaiting because I keep giving away dramacoins and I need to make them back so I have more coins to give to goomblers)

I like a lot of things with convoluted plots, so I'm fine with that

R-slurred children trying to rip off the plot of Terminator 2 which was ripped from The Outer Limits (yes it really was, watch it) with literally no fricking clue what world this was originally written in. Wow. That sounds so important and meaningful.

read Book of the New Sun
there are parts that are incomprehensible until some offhand comment 30 chapters later completely changes everything

That's been perpetually on my list but never read it yet
I'll match you with Ilium/Olympos which are for some reason dear to my heart. The mixing of classics and sci-fi and narrating robots trying to understand humanity really gets me

Honestly you should put it at the top of your list. Tried to read it years ago, bounced off the first chapter because it was too frickin weird, tried again a couple weeks ago and once I got to chapter 10 of book 1 a lot of the pieces started falling together and I got hooked. It definitely deserves the spots it has on those "best books of all time" lists

You get thrown in the deep end of a far-future world where primitive humans live alongside giant robot animals (small animals like rabbits, foxes and turkeys still exist- there's loads of wild turkeys for some reason). Ginger girl is a miracle virgin birth 'from the mountain of the mother goddess' and her birth coincides with the beginning of a spread of corruption among the machines. The plot is about figuring out what's going on.
Lance Reddick (RIP) plays Mr. Exposition.

Watching someone play, it looked extremely boring and the story was weak, with the protagonist being moved along. If you want the open world aspect, just play Tears of the Kingdom.

If it's anything like the first game it's boring as shit and a waste of time

It seemed like something you got because you only owned a PlayStation and couldn't play better games in the genre.

I know a fanatic who refused to even look at the leaked game menu on the TV because she thought it was taking food out of nintendos mouth despite her preordering it. She wanted to play it the way Nintendo intended it to be played, was another cope.
Same with buying amiibo cards for flash dongles despite most amiibos being out of production.
