Nintendies lost their shit both times and there was some weird cabal of schizos throwing disinfo around in the lead-up to Elden Ring in ways I've never seen happen for other games.

Maybe, it would be a lot of time and not much pay-off since realistically almost all of these threads are posted by two or three schizos who might all be the same schizophrenic that makes daily DS2 threads between fixations on other games.
It's one of those things that's much more fun when it's happening and you can join in or point and laugh. I'll definitely see if I can dig up the nintendrone stuff though, they had some weird stick up their butt about Elden Ring that I think was different than the schizophrenics.
