I wonder if Facebook is doing this because they realize that kids are being raised by video games and ipads and think they will embrace this sort of thing. I certainly can't imagine anyone my age or older buying into what I've seen so far from the Metaverse. It looks terrible and the virtual world is shallow and unappealing (except to those that want to live out their fetish shit in VRchat or 2nd life)
