Tbh any sort of bad environment does. The economic stuff in Germany was secondary to the rise of nazism with losing ww1 and a failure to establish a functioning government, and a conservstive movement that was weak and unable to compete with the socialists/commies.

Yes lol. A weak conservative movement unable to compete is probably the fastest road to fascists obtaining power. The only countries that experienced successful fascist movements were ones with conservstive parties that created an opening and tried to co-opt the fascist movement.

Honestly people over-estimate how relevant that stuff was. What we put on Germany after ww1 was way more generous than what they had planned for everyone else.
In practice the terms were pretty fluid as there was a ton of sympathy for Germany in the european elite classes.
The one thing that was actually unfair was Austria, that really set german nationalists off.
I think a lot of "oh man, the poor germans after ww1" bullshit comes from holo deniers, always looking for ways to make it seem like Germany was justified.
