The only way to make /r/transpassing pretty safe would be to close it up, make it private, and only allow in people whom we've manually checked and personally vetted.
But when we do that, it also becomes an echo chamber and then people complain that the whole sub is a 'useless hugbox' that 'doesn't help anybody.'

My theory is that autists feel like non-men (because they are) and they think that a non-man is a woman so they obsess over that like they do with trains, programming, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc. and come to the conclusion that yes, if they are not like men they must be women and women must accept this because women are women and they are women how bizarre they don't get accepted. Perfect neurodivergent logic when you think about it.
