My guess is that spez realized that the powerjannies and other admins were being r-slurred, so he told them to frick off so he isn't forced to delay the IPO.

Reddit is a big company, and people like the founders are being replaced with illiberal activists. I sincerely doubt it was spez who banned all the radfem subs, and who talks to r-slurs like Bardfinn all day. This neighbor is a billionaire techbro. Why would he care about a bunch of whiny 🚂s beyond the extent of his company's IPO?

If the chadmins ever cave in, the powerjannies will simply demand more in the future.
