Believing in trust-busting isnt a rightoid or a leftoid position - if you believe in that metaphysics - but a everybody but neoliberal monopoly owner/shareholder position. I am intentionally leaving out economic libertarians because they have never thought about the ramifications of their beliefs before.
Every classical argument for capitalism to the benefit of a state - ever made - reliably makes a point that the natural formation of monopolies must be prevented, for the same reason price gouging needs to be banned; capitalism's incentive to make industry more efficient does not work - in any scenario - when price-setting becomes the most viable means to increase efficiency.

Are you sure null is a rightoid? I don't think he is. People who think you should be able to say whatever the frick you want on the internet are not rightoids. I don't know much about the guy, maybe he is, but freedom of speech is not a partisan issue except right this minute in my idiot country for no apparent reason.

Conversely, leftoids often embrace somewhat vaguely rightoid ideals when they want to get someone fired from their job for wrongthink but can't because of union or other labor protections.
Basically, whoever has power wants to remove protections from those who don't. Those who don't have power will cry about civil liberties and such. The pendulum will keep swinging.

Weβre halfway to pushing chuds to be commies anyway, given the relationship between the large tech companies and anything that pisses off the radlib twitter crowd.
They also donβt like banks very much, itβs not a huge stretch to say βhey, rich shitlib elites with a while bunch of capital make money off the backs of working class Anericans just to turn around and try to make you eat the bugs and sleep in the pod and push their sexual deviance onto you, we should put a stop to it!β

is it a good thing, or is it just a thing? Like don't get me wrong communist ideology failed at its primary objectives, but don't let that distract you from the fact that when you make capitalism an ideology you get real brainbad dumb fast. Like there's no way you can say it's a good thing that we've oriented our society around capitalism as an inherent good in and of itself instead of as a tool with which to allocate resources and make sure we approximate fairness. Treating it as more than that is just as stupid as the modern day communists.

We already tried breaking up AT&T under antitrust law
Most of the split firms just merged back together to form modern AT&T over the course of a couple decades
And the two that didn't merge back into AT&T are now known as Verizon

Imagine thinking that there's any economic system where people don't hate the phone company. Uncle Ted gets so much praise for bitching about the modern world, but The President's Analyst (most underrated boomer movie of all time) really cut to the heart of the issue. Everyone everywhere on Earth hates the phone company. It doesn't matter if you're in America or the Soviet Union or the Third World.
