My cousin used to work for spacex and he said Elon could keep pace with his engineers when talking about highly technical stuff. The dude definitely knows his shit

I don't know about his role currently, but Musk was heavily involved with and the final arbiter of engineering decisions during the early years of SpaceX. Even if he wasn't doing anything technical personally, being able to attract and select quality engineering talent requires competence.

It's just cope from under-employed and over-educated degree collectors, who have never done anything of merit.
