Can someone fill me in on why people hate Elon so much? I'm neutral on him.

I realize the guy is kind of a manchild but idk what he's done to inspire so much hatred.

The redditor's entire worldview is constructed by dividing the world into two camps: right and left. Anything in the left camp is wholesome chungus, anything else is in the right camp and thus evil. Elon used to be provisionally in the good people camp, owing to his electric car and heckin mars projects. Then he did some chudly things, and thus was thrust into the evil people camp. Now, importantly, how evil a person is is multiplied by how wealthy they are, so elon = a little chudly * very wealthy = the devil incarnate.
