My college screenwriting teacher worked for them for a period. She absolutely despised the experience and was pretty vocal about why - that behind closed doors them and the whole team were extremely conservative and voted Republican every election. She said the entire operation was basically a Trojan Horse to sneak right wing politics to the left by coating it in peepee and fart jokes, and looking at the results (and reading the comments of people defending the show in this thread)β¦ I think she was spittin truth.

Some do it in the name of public decency, others do it in the name of religion, and still others do it in the name of protecting fragile minorities. But no matter what excuses the censors give you for clamping down on your free speech, whether they are leftoids or rightoids, or whether they use the government, the corporations, or social media lynch mobs to try to suppress you... just remember that every last one of these people is evil, and they all deserve to die without exception. Seriously, if you don't like South Park, don't watch it. People like the OP bother me to no end. Just because you're offended by a TV show you don't properly understand doesn't mean that I can't enjoy it. People seem to be conflating "free speech" with "speech that agrees with my opinions". Free speech is supposed to make you uncomfortable. If something dumb is said, then its out in the open and everyone can call it out for it.

The reason people like the OP have become powerful in society is because they used to be mocked and teased whenever they dared spout off their moronic opinions in public. But today, because their opinions would give more power to the oligarchs who run our society, those same oligarchs have handed them a microphone and amplified their voices to make them more influential than they should be. We need to make people like OP afraid again, and possibly terrorize the oligarchs too until they realize that they fricked up. I would love to see some of these media elites get killed next time they take a flight to Davos or some island resort. I don't care if that's fedposting.
