I firmly believe that the only social media of the future worth using will be federated. Will it be the dramaverse?

Basically a decentralized social media that means admins can't go over the heads of board moderators, but they still share infrastructure that makes creating new boards as (or almost as) easy as creating a new subreddit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributed_social_network?wprov=sfla1

Mastodon is a federated version of Twitter, aether is a federated version of reddit. To be honest, I know almost nothing about how the process actually works or how difficult it is to implement.
