I think AI art should not be legal for commercial use due to a legitimate concern over plagiarism and tracing. But private : use? Yeah you shouldn't stop that, and you can't stop that.

One of the biggest anti-AI flagbearers is that one concept artist that draws dinosaurs and "realistic" pokemon. Ended up muting him on twittwr cause he was absolutely everywhere sneeding whenever the topic of AI art came out.
