What does your husband think? And does his boss have children, even if they're grown? I'd consider having your husband have a zoom with his boss. This is an opportunity for him to show how he responds in difficult situations and when things get complicated. In some ways this is a test, although likely not a planned one. Will he take orders from a PA? Will he take invasion of privacy lightly? Will he find solutions for unexpected situations that work for everyone? These are leadership skills and now is the exact moment to show them to his boss.

Seems like a fast way to get fired to me. She herself said this situation has been great financially for them. I'd hire a full time nanny before I'd endanger that but then again, I'm not posting on online mom groups.

In a way it is a good test, if her husband agrees to coming across like a giant entitled r-slur with his boss he does deserve all the misery that's coming his way.
