You know, if you just read that without an understanding of all the deep lore of r/Drama and appreciation of the culture, you'd think he knew what he was talking about. All sounds quite technical and sounds like he must have evidence to back it up.

That's Bardfinn's whole thing really, waffling on about topics he doesn't really understand to an audience who are r-slurred and hang off his every word.

Isn't that the same thing leftoids argue against conservitards like Ben Shapiro?

And that is why Ben Shapiro is also worth listening to as much as reading Bardfin. And I say this as a semi-rightoid. The guy is insufferable to listen to

I tried one time, he's simply insufferable to listen to. Fricking nerd. It would be so easy to bully him from the left if they weren't some self elevating buffoons'. His sister though

I don't care if Shapiro has points I might agree with, I just feel the need to bully him. The primal instinct to dab on a kid by fricking his hot sister and telling all his friends is uncontrollable.

Yeah you're right it's the exact same thing. Stupid people seeing big words mashed together and being impressed. It must be clever if it's got all dem words!

Isn’t Shapiro at least semi-coherent? I have hard time seeing a leftoid’s equivalent.

Yes, I've suffered through his podcast a couple times before. There really wasn't any "big words". His primary audience is rightoids, after all. I really don't get people who think he's using obscurantist language.

I enjoy reporting Bardfinn's comments for "psuedo intellectualism". It's a small drop in the bucket, but I like to imagine it brings him some cognitive dissonance for a second. My fantasy is to actually engage him someday and get him to tell me "sit down and listen to the scientists", and then reveal to him that I am in fact a scientist and he should do that instead.

I did this to drewiepoodle a couple weeks ago. Got xer to admit they aren't actually involved with science and just work in PR/marketing. It was glorious.

Cope. You realize that's the exact thing I'm trying to play into, right? They worship scientists so I'm trying to leverage that against them.
