I always hate that outlook. Like if a woman hits you, you just have to suck it up and do nothing except divorce or leave or whatever and if you call in the assault/battery then youre looked at like a dog with its tail between its legs.
I think society needs to adapt to the point of if a woman hits a man he should be able to reciprocate the strike back, if they fight they fight. Same for a man hitting, if anything just grab a bat ladies and start hitting some caps if you cant match the power level (or dont date people twice your size that you cant handle in a self defense situation)

I mentioned men since they are reported to do the majority in straight relationships and women do little, so men were my baseline that cute butches would have to be beating. Then in the other sentence I'm saying the discrepancy is because men aren't reporting when the abuse happens in other direction.

While foids absolutely are more likely to call the cops I do think we should consider that scrotes being physically superior to foids has an impact on physical abuse and by having a partner that is either equal or weaker than themselves probably leads them to be more able to express their abuse physically.
