400 dead children in the US over 18 months in a 18 year age range is approximately 1.2 dead kids per age per month, or 22 total dead kids per month. It's such an unlikely cause of death it's really not worth living in fear of. It's really not rational. The vaccine itself literally is more likely to kill the average American than the disease is to kill a child.
