If most of the solar spectrum was infrared, wed have evolved to see it instead of the visible spectrum. We see the visible spectrum because its most effective to do so in sunlight.

Thats not how heating objects with radiation really works, although for the earth in total only about half is directly infrared. Uv has way more energy than infrared - no one is getting warm from x-rays.
Without the source im not 100% but im pretty sure that image is implying that at locations people generally live, most heating is infrared.
Its pedantic anyways, bard is close enough for it to not matter
