Already have, but it's in my best interest for other people to also have the best experience possible (bear in mind 90% of people don't bother with changing the settings of anything). We wouldn't have to do shit like quote individuals comments if Reddit links were actually usable by default

controversial is usually a lot of 0 vote opinions nobody cares about. spicy drama happens in replies to comments and in super downvoted land but you can't really sort by those.

I like to sort by best first just to find out what r-slurred opinion is actually popular with redditors. It makes it that much more enjoyable to see what's controversial.

"best" should be default and "controversial" a toggle while posting

edit: actually scratch that, you can just link the controversial page if you want, it has a seperate URL.
