I used to work on boats supplying offshore oil rigs in Louisiana and Texas, and the shit they pulled could be wild. The companies attitude towards safety could be summed up as: Offloading drill pipe in 10 ft seas with green water crashing over the deck, I sleep. Walking across the gangway to shore while the boat was docked while not wearing a life vest, REAL SHIT!
