If you think about it, diapers are the most practical and functional type of underwear because you can pee yourself and nobody will know. When you pee yourself while wearing regular underwear or no underwear then you make a wet spot and a puddle on the floor.
My question is, as they are by far the most practical and functional type of underwear, then why don't more people wear diapers?
I think diapers are badass and old people wear diapers because diapers are a sign of rebellion and a sign that you just don't give a shit about going to the bathroom and they have just stopped giving a shit because they have better things to do and there is nothing more badass than peeing yourself and not caring.

Wrong. The most badass underwear is stripper underwear that you can just rip off. You never know when you’re not going to be wanting underwear anymore but by god will you want to take it off fast.
