Not texas, but there are some latinx in NC that are like your previous co-worker. Well meaning but her education is left to be desired.

It kinda irks me when Republicans do that whole “dems are the real racists” bit but holy shit liberals are more racial essentialist than any rightoid i have ever met and i’ve lived in the deep south. I’ve never heard a republican talk about minorities like redditors do.
