Season 3 was terrible. Season 1 was a light hearted feel good show with some funny moments. Then it felt like the screenwriters were all women, a footballer chimps out for being called a cute twink and said and I quote โ€œTHAT GUY SAID SOMETHING VERY IGNORANTโ€ :soycry: followed by โ€œHe said the F wordโ€

All the weird social issue of the week episodes were bad, but the worst part was how they glossed over the dude's wife shacking up with the marriage counselor. I almost wondered if they were going to radical centrize and dip into the failures of too soft masculinity, but the dude's moment is he's up front in saying, "Shucks. That really hurts me." Not, "You lied to me this whole time and I don't want that unethical and duplicitous frick around my son. I'm calling whatever psych board society whatever and getting his license revoked." And all his friends supported the "aw shucks" option.

Good take, Ted is a passive figure, the ideal feminist man.

And all his friends supported the "aw shucks" option.

Another dramacel in this thread pointed out that redditors canโ€™t tell the difference between empathy and sympathy, and this is the perfect example. You should be angry if your wife banged your couple therapist, and actual friends should be pissed along, instead they are just all โ€œIโ€™m so sorry, thatโ€™s sadโ€. Empathy is not about pity, is about comforting and standing up for your loved oneโ€™s.

Ted was a horrible coach who didn't even try to learn the sport and told his professional team wining isn't everything. B-word I'm gonna get fired if I don't win
