Is it beneficial to be a woman on this site? Let's take a look

@JustASluttyB-word recently made this post decrying that their post looking for people to play Yugioh with received far less comments than my post looking for people to play MTG with did. Little did he know, I made that post not to actually find anyone to play with because I expected no one would offer, and I made that post solely after seeing his to make this post analyzing what the positives of being a woman on here are, because I knew someone would point out that previous point and the supposed double standard.

How many people actually offered to play with me?

In short, zero. The only person who said they were down was Carp, who primarily made his reply to continue the bit of "simping" for me, but I will get to that later.

These are the two DMs I received in response to my post. One of them bizarre and seems like some kind of bit. The other complaining about WOTC being "woke" which I could not care about in the slightest. Neither jumping at the chance to play or providing any sense of validation.

The comments on my post

Well as the above post details, I received a lot of comments on my post, so clearly there must be simps and people itching to play with me in the replies, right? Not exactly. Let's see:

First there are geniuses who don't realize me mentioning "playing at a competitive level once" as a warning was an obvious joke.

Then there are those who repeat the same tired thing about women not playing card games or that being a woman and playing a card game makes you a pickme or "not like other girls"

Finally the declaration that the thread would assuredly be full of "hardcore simping".

Here is my original post if you would like to go through the comments yourself and find the "hardcore simping" that this top comment predicts would be there. I'd love to see it.

I can't believe so many of you fall for the obvious bait

I know incels are braindead and as predictable and obvious as the phases of the moon but it still shocks me how many people continue to fall for the bit of Carp "simping" for me. I'm sorry to him for kind of ruining his bit but he clearly finds it funny how people accuse him of simp behavior and how they react negatively to it. Any functioning human being who actually talks to other people other than the Internet and has more than two braincells clanging around their head can see that's the case. We don't talk in private at all and his responses are clearly geared to rile up that crowd and they keep taking the bait over and over again. Jesus Christ. It's honestly sad.

In conclusion

I would prefer if people didn't know what I look like and that I'm female since the majority of comments I receive about my looks are "basic ethot/5 out of 10/mid/BPD whore" (which honestly doesn't really bother me because I actually go outside and receive a totally different reaction out in the wild so I know here it is just lazy trolling/general incel stuff and I like how I look and am confident in myself) but it is repetitive and boring and the near constant "you have so many simps" comments drown out so much of my interactions on here.

Maybe I will just abandon this account and make a totally anonymous one if I get too annoyed, I shall see.
