Patient presents with heavy pressure in chest and intermittent numbness in left hand. Reports occasional sparks of fiery pain roaring through left arm. Symptoms are worst at night and upon waking up, and subside after administration of copious amphetamines. Patient visited hospital after acute episode of aforementioned symptoms, where EKG, X-ray, and blood test results indicated nothing abnormal. Patient's primary care provider says it's probably anxiety and also stop taking amphetamines. Patient will Kermit if amphetamine prescription is discontinued.
