I'm doing great professionally and academically, but I feel pretty fricking unhappy a lot of the time. I have plenty of friends but no bf and it makes me really lonely. S*x is easy (I'm gay), but I'm mid-20s and I've never been in a relationship. I'm worried that I'll die alone, just another unfulfilled careerist.

Yeah but do you have a dog? And idk if you have friends and you still feel lonely sounds like the company you keep doesn't keep you satisfied. I don't think having a boyfriend isn't going to make you feel any less lonely. That just screams desperation. You'll just worry whether they love you or not. Go meet people who don't want to frick you and learn to love yourself. You're fricking 24, you have plenty of time to find someone after you stop being insecure.
