Today Argentines voted in PASO, which are there primaries before the general election in october. However unlike burgerland, voting in primaries is mandatory, therefore the results are pretty close to what will be seen in the first round of the general election.

I might write an effortpost explaining better another day because is too late but basically this Hobbit looking fellow named Javier Milei was the most voted candidate with 30%, and there's a decent chance he'll become Argentina's next president. He's a libertarian who subscribes to the Austrian School and has mentioned Mises is his biggest influence. He's super dramatic and has claimed people should be allowed to sell their organs and once he said he wouldn't sell a son of his, but it might be something society could discuss legalizing in 200 years.
